Middle Avon from Salisbury to Ringwood

High river levels are expected to cause flooding today. Flooding is expected on 29 January 2026 . This is an update to the current flood warning. Locations most affected will be Areas most at risk include areas in Britford, Charlton All Saints, Downton and Fordingbridge in close proximity to the River Avon. Further rainfall is expected overnight. We are closely monitoring the situation . Stay away from floodwater - it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers, sewage and chemicals Don't put yourself and others at risk.
