River Foulness and Market Weighton catchment

High river levels today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible overnight tonight, 09 December 2025 due to recent heavy rainfall from Storm Bram. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near the River Foulness and the Market Weighton Canal and their tributaries, particularly around Welham Bridge. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and liaising with emergency services and local authorities. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
