River Derwent at Buttercrambe Mill

"High river levels as a result of rainfall caused by Storm Bram are expected to cause flooding over the next two days, Flooding is expected from the afternoon of Tuesday 09 December 2025. Locations most affected will be Buttercrambe Mill at Buttercrambe Bridge. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and liaising with emergency services and local authorities. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions and stay away from floodwater - it can contain hidden dangers, such as sewage.
