River Cober at Trenear

High river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight.  Flooding is expected from the evening of 29 January 2026 through to 30th January 2026.  Heavy rain has caused river levels to rise, with further rain expected overnight and in to tomorrow. Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 9pm on Thursday. The main areas of concern are properties and low lying areas in and around Trenear, including Sawyers Court, Poldark Mine and the B3297. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. River levels are forecast to be at their highest between 11pm and 3am.  We are closely monitoring the situation .  Activate any flood protection products you may have .  This message will be updated by 1:00PM on 30 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
