Continuing high river levels mean flooding remains possible today and overnight into 29 January. Further rain is forecast Thursday and into Friday. Catchments are saturated and rivers are expected to remain high. Properties and low lying land and roads close to the river remain at risk. The main areas of concern are Cullompton, Willand, Culmstock, Hemyock, Bradninch, Broadclyst and Clyst St Mary. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 4:00PM on 29 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
