South Devon coast from Start Point to Dawlish Warren


High tides today may lead to flooding.  Flooding is possible from 16:45 on Friday 30 January.  The high tide at Exmouth on Friday is at 16:45, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 1.86mAOD, which is 0.67 metres above tide table level. Force 6 south easterly winds and offshore wave heights of over 2m are forecast over the high tide. Coastal conditions should ease for Saturday morning's high tide.  We are closely monitoring the situation .  Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .  This message will be updated by 2:00PM on 31 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
