Lower Torridge area

Continuing high river levels mean flooding remains possible today and overnight into 28 January. Heavy rain has fallen throughout Monday and into Tuesday and further showers are possible. Catchments are saturated and rivers are expected to remain high. Properties and low lying land and roads close to the river remain at risk. The main areas of concern are Dolton, Great Torrington, Bideford and Westward Ho!. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
