Mid Bristol Avon area

River levels on the Mid Bristol Avon at Bradford-on-Avon are now falling. Flooding of roads and low lying land is possible, particularly between Melksham and Bathford. The flood gates at Holt Road may be closed. Further rain is forecast for Thursday. We are closely monitoring the situation and monitoring river levels. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
