Middle Hampshire Avon at The Friary and City Centre, Salisbury


High river levels are expected to cause flooding today.  Flooding is expected on 28 January 2026 .  Locations most affected will be Fisherton Street, Bridge Street, Mill Road, Crane Street, New Street, Catherine Street, Brown Street, Exeter Street, Friary Lane, Greyfriars Close and Wiltshire College. Further flooding is expected throughout the evening as river levels remain high due to recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. Weather conditions remain unsettled over the next few days and we will monitor the situation closely.  We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .  Activate any flood protection products you may have .  This message will be updated by 2:00PM on 29 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
