River Cothi at Pontargothi and Pontynyswen

River levels are rising. Flooding to property is expected. Flooding of low-lying land and roads is ongoing. The River Cothi at Felin Mynachdy gauge is expected to peak between 11pm on Wednesday 17th December and 04:00am on Thursday 18th December. Further heavy rainfall is forecast for Thursday 18th December which may cause river levels to rise again. We will continue to monitor the situation.
