Langney Haven

The Langney Haven is high following Tuesday's rain. Minor flood impacts will continue to affect fields and parkland including Shinewater Park. Small amounts of rain are forecast Thursday evening, Friday evening, and Saturday. River levels will likely rise again Thursday evening, but probably only a very small amount. Minor flood impacts, with water approaching gardens of Langney Green, could be possible on Saturday. River levels should finally begin to fall Sunday, but not far. More rain is forecast Monday afternoon, which will cause the river to rise again and further flooding could be possible next week. We are operating structures at Fence Bridge and Crumbles to reduce flood risk. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have in Langney Green.
