High river levels today have led to flooding. Flooding is possible from the evening of 28 January 2026 . Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected especially in the Shiplake area. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to rise until tomorrow morning, 29 January 2026. We then expect levels to stabilise before starting to fall. We are closely monitoring the situation . Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses . This message will be updated by 8:00PM on 29 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
