Ginge Brook

High river levels may lead to flooding. River levels are high on the Ginge Brook. Flooding of low lying land and roads remains possible today, 12 March 2026, including in the Steventon area. The forecast is for a mostly dry day today with light showers possible during the afternoon. Heavy rain is expected this evening and overnight. Friday is forecast to be mostly dry with a chance of showers. We expect river levels to fall very gradually over the coming days. Levels remain sensitive to further rainfall. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid low lying footpaths and roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Go to River Levels Online for updates on current river levels. This message will be updated by 12PM on 13 March 2026, or as the situation changes.
