High river levels may lead to flooding.
River levels are high on the River Lambourn from Upper Lambourn down to Newbury. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today, 10 March 2026, especially in the Shaw area. The forecast is for a predominantly dry day today and tomorrow with light showers possible. Levels are high but stable. We expect levels to fall very slowly over the coming days.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid low lying footpaths and roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Go to River Levels Online for updates on current river levels.
