Groundwater flooding in the Upper Og Valley

Groundwater levels are currently high at our Draycot borehole in the Upper Og Valley. We expect levels to rise over the coming days and levels to remain sensitive to further rainfall. Depending on the rainfall received, we may see localised groundwater impacts. Due to the nature of groundwater flooding, this situation could continue for several weeks or longer. We are closely monitoring rainfall and groundwater levels. Residents are advised to prepare property resilience measures and ensure that pumps are working where they have been installed. Take particular care when driving through flood water both for your own safety and to prevent flooding to others. This message will be updated by 12pm 3 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
