The north Norfolk coast from East Cley to Kelling Hard, including Salthouse


High tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.  Flooding is possible between 7.45 am and 09.45 tomorrow morning, Saturday 15th August.  We may see water on Beach Road at Cley, and Beach Road at Salthouse, and footpaths in the marshes may also become inaccessible. The detailed forecast is for a peak level at Wells of 3.55mAODN at 8.45am, on Saturday 15th August, which is 0.15m above tide tables, Wind Force 4 , North. Tides are expected to be higher than usual, due to the forecast weather conditions during spring tides.  We are closely monitoring the situation .  Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .  This message will be updated by 12:00PM on 15 August 2026 or as the situation changes.
