River Maun in Nottinghamshire

Rising river levels today may lead to flooding.  Flooding is possible on 12 March 2026 .  Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads around Mansfield, the Sherwood Forest Caravan Park at Clipstone, Edwinstowe, Ollerton, Whitewater Lane at Whitewater Bridge and West Drayton. Rainfall is forecast into the early hours of tomorrow . River levels are rising steadily.  We are closely monitoring the situation .  Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .  This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 13 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
