River levels are rising as a response to the recent rainfall and may continue to cause flooding. Flooding is possible on 28th January 2026. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. Flooding may affect low lying land and roads along the River Wye. Predicted peaks:- Ross on Wye - 3.9m to 4.1m Wednesday 28/01 PM. Lydbrook 5.0m to 5.3m Wednesday 28/01 PM. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 29th January 2026 or as the situation changes.
