River Wye in Herefordshire

High river levels today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 09 December 2025 . Flooding may affect low lying land and roads along the River Wye from Hay on Wye to Ross on Wye. Other locations affected may include the A438 between Letton & Willersey, Byford, Bredwardine & Hereford. Road closures & diversions on the A438 may be in force. Predicted peaks:- Hay on Wye 2.8m to 3.2m on 09/12 PM, Bredwardine 4.7m to 5.2m on 09/12 PM, Belmont 4.6m to 5.0m on 10/12 AM, Old Wye Bridge 4.2m to 4.6m on 10/12 AM, Mordiford 4.6m to 5.0m on 10/12 AM, Ross on Wye 3.9m to 4.4m on 10/12 PM.
