River Severn in Worcestershire

High river levels today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 29 January 2026 . Flooding may affect low lying land & roads adjacent to the river from Highley to Tewkesbury; including Dog Lane Bewdley, Stourport, Diglis & Hylton Road towpath. Flooded drains affect the racecourse & Worcester CCG. PLP should be installed. New St Gate closed at Upton upon Severn. Predicted peaks:- Worcester peaked at 4.01m on 28/01/26 Diglis peaked at 3.87m on 28/01/26, Kempsey Yacht Club peaked at 6.05m on 28/01/26 and Saxons Lode 4.6m to 4.7m this morning on Thursday 29 January 2026.
