Weaver catchment including Nantwich, Frodsham, Crewe, Winsford and Northwich

Rising river levels today may lead to flooding.  Flooding is possible on 15 December 2025 .  Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads around the Rivers Weaver, Ducklow and Wheelock and their tributaries. Further rainfall is forecast this afternoon and rivers levels are expected to continue to rise.  We are closely monitoring the situation .  Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .  This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 16 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
