River Dee catchment in England from Whitchurch to Chester

Levels remain high today, 15th December 2025, and are expected to remain high for the next few days. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads around the River Dee at Shocklach, Farndon, Handley, Lower Kinnerton, Chester and Puddington. We are not currently expecting to issue flood warnings. Townfield Lane may become cut off again tomorrow, 16th December 2025. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
