Upper River Derwent, Stonethwaite Beck and Derwent Water

River and Lake levels remain high following recent rainfall. Derwent Water Lake Level is expected to remain high into Thursday afternoon/evening. Weather conditions will improve overnight and river levels will begin to fall as we move into Wednesday 10th December. Locations affected are low lying land and roads around Derwent Water and watercourses from Seathwaite to Derwent Water. We continue to monitor the situation.
