Rivers Duddon, Crake and Mill Beck

River levels remain high after recent rainfall. Weather conditions will improve overnight and river levels will begin to fall as we move into Wednesday 10th December. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers Duddon, Crake, Mill Beck and other watercourses from Coniston to Barrow-in-Furness including low lying areas around Ulpha, Duddon Bridge, Broughton in Furness, Kirkby-in-Furness, Dalton in Furness and Ulverston. We are closely monitoring the situation. Don't put yourself or others at risk. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
